We really enjoy working to commission. It’s not to every artist’s taste, but we find it fascinating how a project evolves from the jump point suggested by a client or by our interaction with the client. A perfect example is this recent two window commission for a residence in Richmond; our client loves the view from the dyke and wanted to depict that in some form. We created a stylized design that runs between the two windows in a soothing layered blend of colour that accents the décor of the home. But we needed a focal point, and the old radar reflector along the dyke was the perfect addition bringing both an element of local history and an interesting shape!
