This two-light window was designed for Paradigm Kitchens to accent the cabinetry in their newest display. The challenge was to give a kitchen a quite unique and contemporary feel, whilst using traditional materials.
Good design was the key to giving this commission impetus. Careful selection of mouth-blown glass allowed us to utilise the required painting and etching techniques in order to achieve the desired impact. The structure and, most importantly, blend of colour were influenced by the way we view well presented food at a good restaurant. An artform in itself.
Maybe it was the epicurean theme or warm blend of colours, but this abstract really seemed to light a passion in those that viewed this piece whilst visiting our studio.
