Vandals were again responsible for the damage to this beautiful window.

Project Overview:

This restoration project was particularly challenging due to the extremely delicate and sensitive painting style of the original artist. So fine was his work that the tone seemed to have almost been achieved without putting brush to glass.

Concept to Completion:

This required us to experiment with different types of paint and binders in order to accurately recreate his technique. The photographs shown here were taken on our studio easel, and we thought you would be interested to see each painting stage and how the tone is gradually built up until the desired effect is achieved.
